Marks and Spencer, the official tailor to the England team, has chosen cloth woven by Alfred Brown Worsted Mills in Leeds for the England football team’s suits.
The suits will be worn on formal occasions during UEFA Euro 2016. M&S chose the Yorkshire textile not only because of its quality but also because it has been designed to be comfortable in high temperatures.
Based in Bramley, Leeds, Alfred Brown has been weaving its fine worsted fabrics for over 100 years. It is a great example of how traditional expertise can be combined with modern technology by a world class firm.
